ABOUT OUR SENIOR ATTORNEY

John Filippello, Esq., one of our principal owners, has over 30 years’ experience as a licensed attorney representing small businesses. He has been a small business owner, having maintained a private practice for many years. This gave him first-hand experience in making payrolls, and dealing with the State and Federal government. John understands the stresses of running a business and how well-intentioned people can end up in a delinquent tax situation.

John has also worked as an in-house counsel for a variety of small businesses. He has represented clients before the IRS, worked in collections, obtained financing, and negotiated non-tax debt settlements.

Before joining Integrity Financial Associates, Inc., John worked for many years as a tax resolutions attorney. He has authored materials and taught other tax resolution professionals the benefits of corporate reorganization strategies to reduce tax liabilities and avoid penalties and interest.

John graduated with honors from the University of Missouri School of Business where he concentrated in economics, finance, and accounting. He earned his law degree from The Ohio State University. He is an Army veteran and volunteers in a group home for people with developmental disabilities. John is married and has one daughter.
